Gourmet food at bargain prices. Simple store front, quiet dining room. Best food I've had at any price in years. This is definitely an undiscovered gem. The atmosphere is simple. Seriously even the pickiest eater will enjoy this gem

Food: quality Service: excellent Ambiance: layback family restaurant What a gem! Almost didn't want to share. Everything from food quality, service is spectacular! The price can't be beat for its food quality. Don't let the bistro vintage decor fool you. Order anything on the menu, you can't go wrong. Start off with the delicious light crispy fried calamari to pair with a bottle of beer for my partner and a glass of wine for me. Grilled Ribeye was perfectly seasoned and my rare is still moo-ing, just how I like it. Came with the perfectly grilled duck confit green beans and I ordered a side of freshly grilled mix vegetables. Love love. The side vegetables are perfectly grilled and freshly selected, not the typical boil veggies you get out there. The homemade fries are perfectly light and crispy, I don't eat fries usually and I finished all sweet potato fries here. Ohh the dessert! It's so fresh and one of the best bread pudding I've had in town or ever. I had to pair it with the ice cream. It was the best combo. I must try!

A total gem. This place has it all, 1)fantastic food 2)great prices 3) kind staff. Each item we ordered was unique and beyond tasty. My favorite item I tried was the tiramisu. We also got a complementary wine for our Tuesday dinner! I cannot wait for the next time I eat here!

I haven't been back to Bistro Tupaz for a while. My daughter suggested we go- so glad we did! Wow- the food was so delicious- started with the complimentary bread and preserve. The baked cod with dill was cooked very well, moussaka very flavorful. The soup tasted very fresh with big chunks of vegetables. Our server was so friendly, also offered extra bread which my daughter really enjoyed. Felt like a very warm neighborhood restaurant. Love the ambiance.

Love going to this awesome place! Tasty and price-friendly food. Good staff and over-all a great local hidden atmosphere.

My friend and I went in around 8pm looking for something sweet. And Bistro Tupaz was amazing! The bread pudding looked a little plain behind the glass case, but they plated it beautifully with berries, chocolate sauce and powdered sugar. It tastes just as good as it looks. The texture was soft and creamy, with just right the amount of sweetness to satisfy our cravings. We were very impressed by the effort and the service. We will definitely be back for a full dinner next time. Thank you!

I met a friend here for dinner. I had high hopes for this place based on their menus and reviews I've seen. It ended up being a mixed experience. First and foremost, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The pasta dishes we tried were also on point. Cook on the pasta was perfect; sauce level was balanced, and shrimps were also cooked perfectly. Brussel sprouts nice and crisp without being burnt. The batter on the calamari was nice and crunchy but a little on the salty side. The dipping sauce was delicious. The actually calamari pieces themselves were sadly a little undercooked and still translucent and soggy. The main reason the food scored lower for me was the ribeye. The menu clearly said that the steaks were grilled. The ribeye I received, while seasoned well, was not what I expected for a grilled steak. The temp was correct but it was very tender with no external sear. It was closer to a prime rib than a seared steak. Some of the delicious delicious ribeye fat did not render and was tough and rubbery still. I will definitely be back again to try other dishes on their menu as they sounded interesting.

We came here on a Thursday evening and there was plenty of seating. They have seats on the left and right sides of the restaurant. I like that they have a good amount of space between all of the tables. The chef who greeted us was so kind. The service was fantastic. We felt incredibly welcomed. They serve complimentary bread that has housemade jam. It was an orange jam when we came that was very good. Faroe Islands Salmon W/ Dill Cream Sauce - The salmon was cooked perfectly. The dill cream sauce as wonderful as well. This dish came with two sides so we picked the alfredo pasta and pomme frites. The pasta was great and the pomme frites were amazing. Since we had fries the chef brought over a housemade garlic aioli that was delicious. Pappardelle Alfredo - Another great dish. The chicken was perfectly grilled. We look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu.

We have been coming here for years, then Covid hit. We recently came back for the first time since the beginning of Covid and were pleasantly surprised. There have been some changes since the before times. First of all are the uniforms. They have changed. For years, we have referred to this restaurant in our family as "Pirates" because of their old uniforms. They kind of dressed like pirates. Their new uniforms no longer look like those that a pirate would wear but they will forever be referred to as Pirates in our family. In the before times you used to order at the counter and then they would bring it out to you. Now it's 100% table service. What hasn't changed is the great food at reasonable prices. The pictures show the Beef Stroganoff (very good) and the 1 pound of Rib Eye (also delicious). Don't forget to have their fries with the garlic aioli. Very yummy! My wife wants me to point out just how fresh and good the food is. Most everything is homemade right there. They bake the bread, make their own jam, and come up with the best recipes from scratch. They also start off every meal with a bread basket with some of their wonderful jam. In a nutshell, Bistro Tupaz is far above most restaurants in the area when it comes to variety, deliciousness, and value. It's a hidden gem. I pity the fool who doesn't try the Bistro at least once. Don't forget free wine night!! If you're lucky, you might spot "mama" Tupaz stop by in one of her fancy cars to check out the business. Bottom line, we wholly recommend Pirates!

Decided to try something new (to us) and local (only a 10 minute drive!) on a Friday night, and Yelp reviews led us to Bistro Tupaz. For a Friday night, it wasn't busy at all and we were seated quickly on the quiet side of the restaurant which had plenty of seating. Our friendly host (I forgot his name, I'm so sorry) gave us their menu and brought us some water as well as complimentary bread and orange marmalade. The menu is short and simple and we chose: Shrimp bisque: a little thin on the texture, but full of delicious, creamy flavor! There was also a little kick of heat to the soup which was a nice addition and beautiful pieces of shrimp throughout. Fried Shrimp & Frites: the shrimp was lightly fried which I really appreciated as it wasn't too heavy or greasy when you took a bite. But omg the fries! You must try the fries! Idk what they fry it in but they are perfectly crispy and salty for wedge sized frites! My husband also had it with his entree and we raved over these fries! They toss them in pepper and flaky salt which I think gives it that balanced seasoning. Chicken Parmesan Burger & Frites: another lightly fried piece laid on top of well seasoned arugula and topped off with melty Parmesan cheese. It came with a choice of regular or sweet potato fries and my husband chose regular. Both entrees came with condiments on the side of the baskets; ketchup and tartar sauce for the shrimp and ketchup and mayo for the burger. To end with, we ordered the raspberry cheesecake and I was going to take it to go but couldn't help myself and took a bite (or two) before we left and it was DIVINE. I wish the raspberries had been a touch more tart but the cheesecake was a wonderful light texture and the crust was crumbly and homemade, just as it should be! We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu! I'm so glad we found this hidden gem and that it's so close to home!
